Early Intervention Program information

Children start school at a designated chronological age, but differ greatly in their intellectual development and experience base. The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is designed to serve students who have tested below their current grade level. The purpose of the Early Intervention Program is to provide additional instructional resources to help students who are performing below grade level obtain the necessary academic skills to gain content knowledge and increase academically.  The EIP teachers work with small groups of students in the areas of reading and mathematics.  We use research based resources and materials through the i-ready and Ready program as well as the Imagine It series to build decoding skills and reading fluency.
